Basketball is back!

The 2026-2027 Basketball Season is almost underway! Looking forward to watching Basketball on all levels from Middle School up to the NBA!

I enjoy watching local basketball and seeing  all ages work hard and get buckets, and I’m especially hype that my old high school that I played at actually has a team once again, looking forward to the renewed rivalry between the school I’ve been coaching at for the last few years, and my old school I played for.

College wise I’m hoping the Liberty Flames make it to the big dance in March, but I must admit I’m a little skeptical of that happening, but hopefully I eat those words in the post season…

I must say that I’m most excited for the NBA season and all of the new faces on different teams…as a Miami fan I genuinely think the Heat are going back to the Finals and their roster is the most complete roster in the NBA with Giannis, Bam. Wiggins, Klay, and Mitchell being my preferred closing lineup at the moment (Tim Hardaway Jr, Pelle Larson. And Ryan Connell look great too, only thing I’m a little concerned about is our back up bigs)

There are so many other teams I’m looking forward to watching, especially the Wizards, Timberwolves, and Sixers, and I would root for those teams to win (in that order) if the Heat didn’t win this year.

Here’s my predictions for the season, let me know your thoughts!
